Alan Still — Training Director, First Year Instructor

Alan Still has been the Coordinator/Training Director for the Georgia Sheet Metal JATC since June of 2003. Alan served his apprenticeship at Strickland Sheet Metal Works from 1994 to 1999. He worked for R.F. Knox Co. in 2000 and as Foreman for Maxair Inc. 2000-2002. In June of 2002 Alan left Maxair to accept an appointment as organizer for the local union. Alan began teaching in October 1999 and is currently a 1st year instructor. OSHA 10 hour construction safety is also a class Alan teaches on an annual basis to apprentices. He is currently enrolled in the instructor training program with the International Training Institute.
