The current Starting Rate (effective 8/1/2007) is $13.63 hr. (based on percentage of journeyman scale)
| 1st period | 50% | $13.63+fringes |
| 2nd period | 55% | $14.99+fringes |
| 3rd period | 60% | $16.35+fringes |
| 4th period | 65% | $17.71+fringes |
| 5th period | 70% | $19.08+fringes |
| 6th period | 75% | $20.44+fringes |
| 7th period | 80% | $21.80+fringes |
| 8th period | 85% | $23.16+fringes |
Apprentices receive raises every 6 months. After completion of the 4 year program, the apprentice is awarded journeyman status and receives scale wages (currently $27.25 hr.)
Apprentices receive fringes paid on their behalf. These include Healthcare for the whole family, an attractive Pension and much more.
